I bought both of my Z's out of state and had them shipped. It's basically a judge of character from the phone and calling them. Try and have a 3rd party involved in the area where you're buying the car. Have the trustworthy 3rd party keep the car and have the transport pick it up from them. Thats what I did the 2nd time. The first time was from a member on 3zc.
Let the car come with the leaky water pump. $700 to change that... wow thats nuts. I'll change out our water pumps for that much without blinking.
